Lifestyle Newborn Photography | Welcome Baby Arthur

It’s times like these that I truly appreciate lifestyle newborn photography and all of the joy it can bring – not only for my clients, but for me as well. The joy almost doubles however when your clients are also dear friends.

Just 12 days after baby Arthur made it Earth side I had the pleasure of joining Matt and Laura at their gorgeous home in Godalming, Surrey. I already knew this session was going to be magical because not only are they a truly lovely family, but Laura has put so much love and attention into her home that I knew it was going to be so much fun to photograph. It’s no wonder Laura receives so much love on her instagram!

I knew that this session was going to be special, as not only are Matt and Laura new parents still experiencing all of the “first time” moments (which is so beautiful to witness), they are also set to move out of their home this month, so it was important to me to also document baby Arthur’s adorable nursery and first home.

As their move rolls around this September it reminds me of my fast approaching move back to Vancouver. I cannot believe that in just 3 months I will be moving back to Canada and re connecting with all of my well loved Lower Mainland based clients. For now I will be making the most out of my time here in the U.K…. like receiving all the newborn snuggles that I can!
